A disturbing thought

A disturbing thought kept me awake. My two novels are floating among the many millions of books lost in the Amazon ocean. A sudden wave of thought gave me back my deprived sleep. “It should concern you not, if the books aren’t the bestsellers, or earn you millions. It should please you, when your stories touch the hearts of a few ardent readers.” I felt content, but today, this line of thought is creating doubt. Should I pursue to make my books the bestsellers and reach more people? I would then achieve both goals. But it means hard work and I should instead focus on writing. I am a storyteller and not a good marketeer; so I am in a checkmate!
